We did see some Pyramid-specific behavior in 4.xx and 5.xx in which the Pyramid file size limit of 2.0GB was causing us to limit tape usage to 2 gig per tape, even on 25 gig tapes. No way around it, according to Informix & Pyramid. Symptom, though was that we were **aborting** the tbtape job from the Unix level without any logging or messaging as soon as the file size limit was hit.
