Do you know : > where I can get winsock.dll for Novell Lan Workplace? : The files are available at Novell's FTP server (thanks to Richard Spitz : for the informiation). I just found the answer to this myself. I expect that a bunch of us who are just getting the freebie software from Informix from Informix World '94 will be having the same problems. I'm not sure exactly which directory the winsock.dll for novell lwp is, but the one I got a few weeks ago was lwp208.exe. Seems that this dll is in several of their updates. They're small, about 50K, so just download one and unpack it to see if it's there. The directory path (I believe) goes something like this: Netwire directory Unix connectivity Lan Workplace for DOS 4.1 The reason I don't know the exact path is that I searched around for hours until I found that Novell was also a WWW site. When I accessed it through lynx at this address:
Novell; their WWW system led me directly to the file. If you don't have access to lynx or another WWW client, the ftp address is: ftp.novell.com Good luck.
