How long have you been a DBA Mukund??? The mirrored chunk always takes up the entire allocated size of the primary chunk, regardless of how much free space exists in the primary. You never look at the mirrored chunk for space usage metrics, use the corresponding primary chunk. BTW, in any database system, it's pretty tough to get back something you gave it...
