Some of the clients will only run developed -> ESQL (Fortran, Ada, C, or 4GL) applications on their clients. WWHHYYY -> do we have to buy run time copies of the frontend applications for -> those clients. It does not make sense to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -> An executable should be able to run on a client even without the -> runtime frontend application, unless the application has dynamically ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ -> linked informix libraries. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is indeed why you need the runtime package. -> ->================================================= -> ->Calvin E.
