IDS on HACMP

Hi, Currently I'm handling IDS 7.3 on R/S 6000 F50 machine. My company want to upgrade the system for the purpose of availability. Therefore they wanted to implement High Availability Clustering Multi Processor (HACMP) meaning that they will put another server that will share the same disk with the current one, but only one server will be active if they opted for hot standby method. My question is how do we go about implementing IDS in this environment. Do I need to install another copy of IDS on the other machine ? If i do so , do i need the same version and same user license as on the first server? How do I configure the IDS/IDSs And what method of operation should the HACMP be on , hot standby or mutual takeover. Hoping to hear from you guys. Thanks in advance.
