I was going to post about how stupid the original message to this was.. but figured I'd hold off to see if other people caught on as the same. A claim this ludicrous would/should make everyone steer FAR clear of the stocks4tomorrow site... As was said earlier, with Larry Ellison on the board, the chances of Informix merging with Apple are about as likely to happen as Microsoft merging with PeopleSoft.. Why the heck would Informix merge with Apple? Why would Apple, looking to streamline (the eliminated imaging division, et. al.).. take on ANOTHER operating system of sorts, when they just took on NeXT. Granted I know Informix isn't an OS, but for it's complexity, it can pretty much be considered a separate entity, as Oracle is. Informix/Apple merger? Give me a break.... In article <jlumbleyEEr69C.4pq@netcom.com>, jlumbley@netcom.com says... > >sunborn@ix.netcom.com wrote: >: Apple and Informix will announce merger on Tuesday.
