Logical Logs Problem

Has anyone encountered a situation where the logical logs have been backed up but not freed. I suspected that was a long transaction, but I checked that the process involved no longer existed but was still reflected in the list of transactions in the tbstat output. The owner address was reflected as 0. I forced a checkpoint and did a logical logs backup to force informix to switch to a new log but the old logs are still not freed. How do I remove the orphan transaction? Here is the tbstat output. address number flags uniqid begin size used %used 95c4d8 1 U-B---- 62 40119c 7500 3456 46.08 95c4f4 2 U---C-L 63 402ee8 7500 592 7.89 95c510 3 F------ 0 404c34 7500 0 0.00 95c52c 4 F------ 0 406980 7500 0 0.00 95c548 5 U-B---- 56 4086cc 7500 7500 100.00 95c564 6 U-B---- 57 40a418 7500 7500 100.00 95c580 7 U-B---- 58 40c164 7500 7500 100.00 95c59c 8 U-B---- 59 40deb0 7500 7500 100.00 95c5b8 9 U-B---- 60 40fbfc 7500 7500 100.00 95c5d4 10 U-B---- 61 411948 7500 7500 100.00 Transactions address flags user locks log begin isolation retrys coordinator 803098 A---- 8019f0 0 0 NOTRANS 0 803438 A---- 801a64 0 0 NOTRANS 0 8037d8 --X-G 0 3 56 COMMIT 0 <-- this is the problem 803b78 A---- 801d1c 1 0 COMMIT 0 803f18 A---- 802130 1 0 COMMIT 0 804658 A---- 801fd4 1 0 COMMIT 0 8049f8 A---- 801eec 1 0 COMMIT 0 7 active, 128 total I have come across some posts mentioning tbzero. Is this a utility that fixes this kind of problem? How can I get hold of it? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alvin Koh Internet: Alvin_Koh@email.mot.com Senior Systems Engineer, MIS alvinkoh@pts7.pts.mot.com Motorola Electronics Pte Ltd - AMK Phone: (65) 4862055 Paging Products Group Asia/Pacific Paging Subscriber Division --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
