I have a database where there are writes to ps2dta dbspace. I looked through schema for all the database (except system ) tables. None of the tables are included in this dbspace. We have Pepolesoft apps talking to this database also. My question is : how writes are occurring to this dbspace ? how to know the same through informix commands (like onstat etc)
TIA

sending to informix-list
Don't know how you exactly checked this
but you might try the following sysmaster query
which should give you an overview:
database sysmaster;
select stn.dbname, stn.tabname, dbinfo("dbspace", partnum)
from systables stn
where dbinfo("dbspace", partnum) = "ps2dta";
You could also execute "oncheck -pe".
HTH.
Best regards
