Tuning IDS 7.31 on Win2000 server

Hello, 3 weeks ago, i posted a message on this forum asking help to tune my ids after upgrading to a new server. At first it seemed that by only upgrading the hardware i had a boost in perf and general advice was "if it work good enough ... don't touch anything". I must have eaten something bad because after two weeks of use ... the results are not so great. Old server was Noname PIII 800Mhz with 1 go Ram New server is HP Proliant Xeon 3Ghz with 2go Ram - only one physical processor. Is there somewhere on the net a guide to find the bottleneck in my system. Or can you help me if i post the right infos. Many thanks in advance. F. LACROIX DATACOL France
I am not aware of your IDS release and config since I was not able to find the corresponding mail thread you mentioned... However, if >= IDS 9.40.: If the overall performance was acceptable 1st and decreased more and more later on, then I suspect degenerated indices due to misconfigured btree scanners Probably you could provide version information and onconfig? A good guide related to IDS might be the related 'Performance Guide'.
