Shaun 1) Does your CLASSPATH contain the path to (including the jar file) ifxjdbc.jar? 2) Are you setting up the driver in your program? Class.forName("com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver"); conn = DriverManager.getConnection(url); HTH Sujit Shaun Campbell <shaun.campbell@qtxnet.co.uk> on 01/26/2000 10:19:26 AM Please respond to Shaun Campbell <shaun.campbell@qtxnet.co.uk> To: informix-list@iiug.org cc: Subject: Problem connecting via JDBC For a while have been trying to connect to a version 5 SE using JDBC 1.5. The problem I have had to date is a -908 error. However, today I have changed/simplified my database statement in the connection URL and now I am getting an error code of 0 but the error message returned is "No suitable driver". Does this message mean anything to anyone? Regards Shaun Campbell
