error code : 710 table renamed or dropped
Posted in 2006
Topics: Error Codes & Troubleshooting
Hi,
we are getting error number 710 when the RCMSServer process was trying to
insert a row to 'rcms_process_req' , and it has the table reference to 'user'.
But at this point of time, you could see user table has been dropped
even we tried to update the statistics on the table but still of no use.
can any one help me in resolving this problem/error.
please do the needful.
update statistics medium for table rcms_process_req ;
Statistics updated.

This is because the table was modified and the SPL has not been
updated. It could be called directly or by Trigger. I like the
really simple....
UPDATE STATISTICS FOR ROUTINE;
This works great when you have to do everything and are to lazy to
program each one out. This isn't the best idea if you have allot of
SPL being used. If you know which function/procedure is causing this
then do just that one...
UPDATE STATISTICS FOR PROCEDURE %NAME%;
UPDATE STATISTICS FOR FUNCTION %NAME%;
This update takes care of funtions and procedures...
