ADVICE? PostScript DataBlade...
Posted in 1997
We're considering making a DataBlade of our conversion tool. I'd appreciate any advice on it. The DataBlade would: - give database developers 11 output formats as long as they make their application print to PostScript. The formats are MIF, WMF, CGM, WPG, HPGL, PCL, EPS, EPSI, EPSF, TIFF, GIF and ASCII. - give end-users the ability to view objects stored in the database as .ps files. - allow users to convert an object into an editable format for use in popular desktop applications such as Word, PowerPoint, etc. - allow users to query the database for objects that meet criterion based on graphic parameters. Text in pictures could also be queried If this sounds interesting, please email me with your thoughts on what would make it a great product. If you want more info about what we do, please see our web site: http://www.square1.nl Thanks! Jean Haney Square One bv
