It may simply be that the Cash posting program wants to lock a table that is currently being accessed, or it wants to update a record in a table that is already locked (not by it). If you haven't already done it, try ensuring everyone is off the machine and running the Cash posting program by itself. Does C2000 give you an Informix error number when this problem occurs? If so, what is it? If it doesn't, you'll probably need to speak to Tetra to resolve it. Bryan Tonnet batonnet@zeta.org.au
