A RESOURCE level user can create their own tables and synonyms, but cannot manipulate other people's tables and synonyms unless given explicit permission to do so - GRANT ALTER etc. Off-hand, I'd say that you cannot drop someone else's synonym unless you are a DBA. > I've suggested they up the access level to DBA to see if that helps, but > of course they shouldn't have to do that.
