Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Had quite a scare today, when after rebooting our system, the chunks
seemed to be corrupted.
Turned out that ownership of all the chunk raw devices (we use symbolic
links) had reverted to root.
Chown back to informix:informix fixed it, but it seemed like my heart
stopped for a few minutes.
I wonder why this happened, and what I can do to preserve owner and
group on the chunk raw devices.
Regards,
DG
Hi,
Just a thought.
