New "published" directory in FTP archive

There is a new directory called "published" in the Informix section of the anonymous ftp archive on mathcs.emory.edu (IP 128.140.2.1). Like its counterpart on UUNET, it will hold examples, exercises, etc., from Informix-related books and other publications. The full pathname of the directory is "/pub/informix/published". I hope this directory will grow to contain the downloadable material from most of the publications one might find in the well-stocked Informix library. However, that will depend on whether such files exist, and of course on the respective authors and publishers. The initial entry in the directory is a collection of files from the book _Using_Informix-SQL_, ISBN 0-201-56509-9, which Jonathan Leffler has graciously consented to contribute. Get the file "u-isql.tar.Z". If you have published a book or an article that contains source code, scripts, or other files that readers would find more convenient to download rather than manually enter, please consider placing a copy in the archive.
