Replication with non-Informix-product

Hello, we are planning to evaluate a HA-replication mechanism for our DB-Servers (Sun systems with Solaris 2.6). Up to now we only using informix mirror on the same machine but in the future we will duplicate our system to one or more another identical systems (duplicating informix DB's on raw-devices and some ufs-filesystems). Our special is the usage of a replication and not a mirror mechanism (because of flexibility), so we will test Veritas Replicator. Have anyone experinced with this ? Perhaps warnings or some good tips ? ... or have anybody this configuration in a productive environment ? Thanks in advance for your 'helpy' mails. Uwe Hommelsheim
