missing libraries

I am having trouble installing ICONNECT and web data blade. When I try to just rpm ICONNECT it says I am missing libifgls.so and libifglx.so. So the rpm doesn't even work. When I try to install web data blade, it says that I am missing libifsql.so and libifdmi.so and I have not registered my data base. I read that you register your db using blade manager, but I only have the install for NT (I am using linux). None of the library files are on my computer at all. Does anyone know what is going on? Try using --nodeps and/or --force and see whether it works any better. I'm not certain whether libifdmi.so comes as part of I-Connect. It probably should. After it is installed, check that you've set LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly. Or use ldconfig to add the relevant sub-directories under $INFORMIXDIR to the trusted library load path. Or make symlinks in /usr/lib to the libraries in $INFORMIXDIR. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
