Hi all I usually use 7.3 in local unix mode and have never therefore connected a client to it. Does anyone know how to connect Erwin to 7.3 over a TCP/IP network? Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
You need iConnect on the PC. Once installed just configure setnet32 to set the host/servername/services values and your login and password and it should work. Art S. Only the ODBC sources are on the offer when you select Informix databases. Andrej Falout
