HPK200 & Informix 7. Big Problems!

We are trying to install Online 7.1 UD3 on an HP K200 dual processor running HP/UX 10. We have now spent the last three days watching the chips die when more than ten users log in. Just recently, HP told us that they had forgotten to install the KIO device drivers which seemed fairly significant. The Informix Knowledge base however tells us that there are some known problems with this implementation and recommended some HP patches. These have also been installed. We then set the KAIOOFF environment vaiable to 1 (TRUE) and Online at least came up. However, after ten users performance again sank to a situation resembling running through custard. If anyone has the slightest idea what to suggest please call.
