Delete table w/Byte fields

Anyone know why this would happen. You have a table such as: r( a int, b byte in xx ) in yy; You populate the table then decide to do a: delete from r; The rows in the table are deleted, but the stuff in the xx tablespace remains. The docs suggest that when you do a delete, a destroy() method is called to wipe-out the corresponding entries as well. But...I don't see this happening. IS there something I need to do to force this to happen? Thanks in advance, Joe
The space in the BLOBSPACE will be freed after the next archive. Run
ontape -s -L 0 or the equivalent onbar.
