Cannot drop database

Hi,
I'm running IDS 7.30 on RedHat Linux 6.0 with ClientSDK 2.10.UC3 and
have created the following problem:
I cannot drop a database.
I was testing a Java application on a Win95 machine using JDBC to insert
records into a table in this database when the process hung. I stopped
the Java process and then tried to drop the database. I got two errors
- I only remember one of the -107 ( ISAM error: record is locked ). I
shut IDS down then restarted it but...if I try to drop the database from
dbaccess I now get Running . . . at the bottom of the screen forever.
Where do I go from here?
Thanks

Sounds like you interrupted a drop database in the middle on a database that
was created without logging. You may be hosed. Try oncheck as Mehdi
suggests and if all else fails call tech support who will have to login and
irradicate the remaining bits and pieces of your half dropped database.
Art S. Kagel
you need to have exclusive access to the database in order to drop it. I
usually restart the engine and then drop.
