It is unfortunate but just now I have been told by Informix that bug 101062
AKA "updating old page error " which existed in prior version is not fully
fixed. They are coming out with some sort of patch.
Let us all jump on Informix because they told us that it is fixed in the new
version i.e. 7.31FC7 and now this.

Sounds like perhaps the new thread is going a bit mad ...Completely hatstand! And we all though UC7 would be the next one after UC4 that had no serious bugs (UC5 has optmization problems and UC6 can't rollback large index builds which hit a long transaction!) Roll on 7.31.UC8, when it is due? -- David Williams
