Luis Error -271 (using finderr) says: -271 Could not insert new row into the table. This problem has many possible causes, including a locked table or a full disk. Check the accompanying ISAM error code for more information. Like the message says, you may be running out of locks or your target device is full. You could try locking the source table with exclusive lock (in which case you would need a transaction), or changing the lock mode of the source table to page. Also while the load is going on, if you are on a multiuser machine, you can check fullness of the target device. I could not find ISAM error -7120 either with finderr. Dont know if this will solve your problem, but hopefully it would eliminate the obvious possibilities. I do that using a insert..select way.+ Eventually I get the next error: sqlcode: 271 Could not insert new row into the table. isam: -7120 when I check this error code with the rofferr utility, it say ther is no isam error with this code.
