My name is Eric and I'm in the Bay Area, CA. Is anyone out there located in my area who is an Informix DBA w/ minimum 3yrs. experience? Also does anyone know about any Informix user groups or like groups where Informix-skilled people can be located? Thanks for any help.

You've made the first step. Welcome to comp.databases.informix. While I can't speak for the Bay Area, I know that there a a lot of people here with varying degrees of experience, from the old-timers to newbies. For the local user group, check www.iiug.org.
