Problem creating an index using large extent size
HI,
Did anybody have any problem creating an index using the new extent size
clause ?
Product version: INFORMIX IDS 11.70.FC6GE on Linux
Here is my SQL create index statement:
*create unique index "informix".fuel_stat_jour1 on "informix".fuel_stat_jour
(scenario_id,date,emet,dest,emetphysique) using btree
in idxdbs3 extent size 4000000 next size 400000;*
My dbspace idxdbs is 22 GB in size and is empty; so only the first 53
pages are used.
When I do an oncheck -pe while the create index is running, I get the
following:

I get the following error messages after few seconds:

28: No space left on device
Any ideas are welcome.
