Forget anything else -- choose the one of these with the best implementation crew in your neighbourhood. I've seen both in action recently, and as products, I'm sure you couldn't tell them apart in the dark. However, the Legato guys were *very* switched on and had everything well sorted in no time. The guys working on Veritas were useless. (I don't know if they were Veritas employees or not). The Legato environment sailed, the Veritas environment stank.
