Hi, Messages concerning "trust" are probably related to /etc/hosts/equiv or .rhosts files. Do you have any entries about other servers in your sqlhosts file ? Are they trusted ? (present in .rhosts or /etc/hosts.equiv ) I think when informix starts, it tries to connect to all servers present in sqlhosts. Another thing, Can you post sqlhosts and explain which INFORMIXSERVER value is set when starting the instance ?
