I was playing with the SCO version of Dynamic Server 7.20UD5 on Linux with iBCS (tomorrow's iBCS release will install and run it :-) ) and noticed that you seem to be doing the SO_LINGER set with an int argument when it should be a struct linger. Perhaps SCO have tightened up their error checking? Perhaps it is fixed post 7.20UD5? Anyway, it sounds like that's what is killing this session (why care if you can't set the option anyway?).
