I have an Informix Online 5.01UD3 server running on a Sun box. I need to get ODBC connectivity so that I can post information into web pages. Will Intersolv DataDirect ODBC work or do I need the Informix-CLI. The major unkonwn for me is what connects to this old of a database? Thanks for your time.

You could try our ODBC driver: SCO SQL-Retriever. Apart from the fact that SQL-Retriever will work fine for the combination you mention, we use it ourselves everyday for our in-house customer database which is Informix5 OnLine on Sun. Take a look at http://www.sco.com/vision/products/sqlretriever/ for more information and a downloadable eval. If you want to run SQL-R with ASP, use SQL-Retriever Lite see http://www.sco.com/vision/vision97/liteclub.html Allan Gould SCO CID Support, Leeds, UK (allang at sco dot com) (Please remove anti-spam measures if replying)
