It is a terrible virus that uses all your resources and brings your company to it's knees!.... What's that? Your company already ploughed millions into it? Oh well, on to number 2) then... 2) Don't worry about it, unless you plan to add a lot more tables. For tables, I guess you can read companies, each creating about 2200 tables! These are all system tables, so they all get cached anyway. It's worth deleting any test companies that are no longer used. 3) Initialise your entire database server and start again, this time remembering to set the extent sizes before you install Baan. You can't set the initial extent size, but you can set the next extent size. Cheers, -- Mark. +----------------------------------------------------------+-----------+ | Mark D. So, you mean that there is no sensible way to reorg these baan systemtables?. Do you mean that baan systemtables are cached or just informix sysmaster tables? 400 MB of data in cache ! Is it really so? Mark D. Stock <mdstock@mydas.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message news:90p7e0$6tr$1@news.xmission.com... > > Jukka wrote: > > > > What is the best way to fix this situation?
