Configurando ODBC Windows

Hello. Can anyone tell if you can configure the IBM Informix ODBC Driver Setup Utility so that the Server Name is resolved by a balancer ( FQDN or IP ) ? In the documentation I found to date indicate that all is set the Server Name field with the specific Hostname where the bank. Thank you! Rafael
Rafael: Sounds like you need to use a connection group. Here's a link to how to create a group on Windows: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21447622 The article talks about using groups to manage connection failover between multiple instances of Connection Manager (using CM is something you should consider anyway) but the same methods apply if the members of the group are direct connections to servers.
