Online 6 Abort Adnormally!!!!!

Hello While running a batch job that does some massive update, the informix engine aborted abnormally. The following message log is recorded. Assert Failed: Buffer modified in inconsistent chunk Who: Session(8, informix, 0, 3) Thread(13, btclean, c001ff84, 1)Results: Chunk x is being taken OFFLINE Action: Restore chunk from archive. Assert Failed: Page Check Eerror in bfput Who: Session(8, informix,0,3) Thread(13,btclean,c001ff84,1)Result: Possible inconsistencies in "table" Action: Run 'oncheck -cDI xxxxxxx' See Also: /tmp/.... rsbuff.c, line 1892, thread 15, proc id 195, Online must abort PANIC: Attempting to bring system down This will only happens once is a while when I execute my program Who has encountered this problems before, please enlighten me in what is to be done to prevent this? It is kind of irritating. What could have happened such that online abort itself. Thank You Wee Tong
