I did not consciously followup to all these newsgroups. I assumed that it was a comp.databases.informix post, as the topic was related to Informix (if I remember correctly). It was only after receiving mail from a couple incensed anal-retentives that I checked back and saw what had happened. But that is a moot point, because in order to respond to a post via a followup post, one must followup to either the original posters followup group, which in this case was a bunch of groups. There is no way I am aware of to learn which group the original poster is following. One can make the case that I should have replied via email, but no sane person would have expected the thread to last this long anyway. Those of you who have nothing better to do than jump on a small sidetrack need to get a life. Flaming spammers is one thing. This was an innocuous little thread about a stupid but funny Monty Python movie. And just for the record, I posted exactly one message to this thread, so it seems those who are upset about are a lunatic fringe anyway. Of course, maybe we're just the lunatic majority. Mike Lemon
