My client is a young, well funded software startupwith a mission to be the leader in the design and construction of large-scale data warehouse and database mining systems. They create integrated marketing decision support systems for Fortune 500 companies seeking to develop comprehensive marketing views of their customers. Their systems contain high data volumes (100's of gigabytes), use parallel processing, relational database technology, and open systems. Database Analysts are responsible for data analysis, data scrubbing, logical design, physical design, data validation, and database testing. Candidates must have experience in a parallel UNIX environment (SMP or MPP). Experience with sales and marketing systems, system integration, and system consulting a plus. Some travel required.
