RSS Cannot Connect

Hi, We are using 11.50.FC7 on SunOS sparc. We deleted RSS for one of our instance. When we recovered it (using Level-0), we received the following error (at Primary Instance): 02:01:29 RSS ids_net_rss2_05 added 02:01:52 RSS Server ids_net_rss2_05 - state is now connected 02:01:52 SMX thread is exiting because the timeout period set by the IFX_SMX_TIMEOUT environment variable of 10 seconds has elapsed. 02:01:52 RSS Server ids_net_rss2_05 - state is now disconnected What is the issue with IFX_SMX_TIMEOUT parameter ? Is this parameter is being handle automatically ? How can we resolve this issue ? Thanks.

if RSS (or other secondary) does not receive any message (including heartbeat message) after IFX_SMX_TIME seconds wait, it will think the primary is down or network is broken, then the secondary will print out the error message in online.log and close the SMX connection. a couple of related issues were fixed in 11.50xC8 and also should be available with 11.50xC7W3/4 patches.
