Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

What platform? If it's Sun, try switching RESIDENT off. If RESIDENT is 1 it
rounds up the shared memory (for some reason I forget :-), and this
somethimes grabs quite a big chunk of RAM.

Run onstat -g seg and look at the total of the RVM segments. It is in
bytes. Does that equal your total of your physical memory on the system.
If so then you might have a problem. the R segment should be about 20%
of your physical memory. M and V are dependent on what you are running.
