RE: Data Erased-- Please help

The only way to restore the data is to restore from a tape backup. Here's
an excerpt from the original message:
# System Archive Tape Device
TAPEDEV /dev/null # Tape device path
TAPEBLK 16 # Tape block size (Kbytes)
TAPESIZE 10240 # Maximum amount of data to put on tape
(Kbytes)
The TAPEDEV parameter tells me that there probably are no backups of this
system. In this case, there's nothing else that you can do, unless this
parameter was changed recently and someone actually did make a backup.
The only other possibility would be that the Informix data was stored on the
filesystem. In that case, check with your systems administrator.
