G'tag Klaus, The question is just a tiny bit ambiguous(zweideutig) so I'll try to cover two answers. 1) An easier way to change the lock mode of tables is ... ALTER TABLE <table_name> LOCK MODE (ROW) or ALTER TABLE <table_name> LOCK MODE (PAGE) For Ansi databases read <"owner".table_name>. 2) If you wish to change the Log status of the database then that's a different kettle of fish. You may switch the mode of Logging for a database by... 1. Goto single-user (Quiescent). 2. Archive (Level 0). 3. tbmonitor a. Logging b. Databases From here follow prompts to set the required Logging status. 4. Goto Online. There are also command line options for doing this but I find tbmonitor more reassuring. I'm currently using Online 5.01.U RM600, RM400, MXI Sinix, Sco etc. Hope this Helps Tom Hogarty Usual Disclaimers apply Online 5.01.U SNI ----------------------- RM600, RM400, MXI Paderborn Phone: 049-5251-8-11602 Sinix, Sco etc. Germany Fax : 049-5251-8-11599
