long transaction aborted

Hi Guys, We are planning to port over from a database without transaction logging to one with it turned on. On testing some of our reports we get an error -458, Long transaction aborted. Now the online documentation of the error speaks about logical logs for inserts and updates. However we are dealing with reports which only select and display data. Any ideas what I should do and does the logical logs discussion with my DBA still applies. P.S - Where can I get more detailed info concerning a database with transaction turned on and how programs communicate with such a database. austin
