Hello, I have installed IDS 7.x on a Solaris 2.7 box. However, I encounter the problem to connect to database by ODBC connection. The nettype only support 'tlitcp' for IDS 7.x Solaris edition. But I have found that nettype for 'soctcp' on Linux edition. My question is: 1. Does IDS 7.x Solaris edition support nettype protocol 'soctcp'? 2. Has any ODBC driver (PC windows 95 or 98) support protocol 'tlitcp' 3. How can I access database between Linux (soctcp) and Solaris (tlitcp) box? I appreciated any input or suggestion.
