Hi all, Is it possible make a rcp command to Unix(Aix) from NT (Server) ? Tanks in Advenced -- F'bio Antunes Fanix Consultoria Ltda. Brasil - SP Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
I'm not positive, but I don't think so. I don't think NT has rcp. You could use FTP and a script (batch file), though. NT has a full set of r* commands, including rcp, rsh, and rexec. The problem is these commands may behave slightly different from UNIX. I use rcp from NT to UNIX every day, the only thing to be setup is .rhosts on destination machine. As for rcp from UNIX to NT, resource kit should be checked for NT remshd clone (daemon that handles all r* commands).
