Database & Platform Support
DBVoyeur is currently available to monitor SQL traffic to any or all of the following databases. A single DBVoyeur instance can be licensed to monitor multiple database types or instances simultaneously. The free edition monitors one database of one engine.
Databases
The versions below are those the capture parsers were written for. The container edition has been tested end to end against IBM Informix 14.10; the other engines are being re-tested at the current release.

Operating systems
The container edition runs on Linux hosts with Docker, on the machine that runs the monitored database.
The container edition runs on Linux hosts with Docker, and has been tested on Fedora 43. The AIX, Solaris and Windows rows describe the earlier native packages and do not apply to the container edition.

Multi-engine licensing
Mixed estates are the rule, not the exception. DBVoyeur licensing explicitly supports a single deployment monitoring instances of several engines at once, sharing one repository and one console. This is the usual choice for organisations running, for example, Informix for OLTP, SQL Server for reporting, and PostgreSQL for internal applications.
