DBVoyeur is distributed by Oninit. A free, time-limited trial is available for evaluation against a non-production instance of any supported database.

Free edition

A permanent free edition monitors one database of one engine, with 24 hours of retention. Alerting, advanced reports, email schedules and intraday history are not included. It is delivered as a bundle of container images, and the current release is for IBM Informix / HCL OneDB. A licence file cannot be added to the free edition — the paid editions are a separate download with the full feature set.

How we use your details

Oninit LLC uses the details you enter here to send you a confirmation link and your download, to keep a record of who has downloaded DBVoyeur, and to contact you about it (for example about the download, support or licensing). We also record the IP address and browser details of your visit and downloads. We delete this information after one year. Oninit will respond with a download link, an evaluation licence key, and a short install brief tailored to your environment. There is no obligation arising from the trial.

Licensing

Model	Notes
Per instance	Most common. Licence one DBVoyeur deployment to monitor a defined list of database instances.
Multi-instance	Single DBVoyeur instance licensed to monitor an arbitrary number of database instances of one engine type, within one organisation.
Multi-engine	Single DBVoyeur instance licensed to monitor multiple database engine types at the same time. Common in mixed estates.
Enterprise	Site licence covering an entire estate. Suited to estates of more than ~25 instances.

DBVoyeur is supported by the same Oninit engineering team that has supported the global Informix community for two decades — the “Down System Specialists.” Support contracts cover business-hours or 24×7 response, at customer choice; emergency recovery support is available out of contract by arrangement.
