Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

In a 4GL program running under Informix ONLINE 5.02, it runs for awhile and
then complains:
4GL run-time error number -4339.
4GL has run out of data space memory.
finderr -4339 proclaims:
The program is too large to compile. Divide it into modules and compile the
modules separately.
Well, the problem isn't when I'm trying to compile the program, it's when I'm
running it! I need some clues as to *what* exactly is it that the program is
running out of. The program pre-processes files for later loading into the
database. It had been able to process several hundred files up to now, but
seems to be able to handle fewer and fewer files before generating the error.
I suspect that the problem is that it is running out of room in the dbspace
allocated to the database it is working in. Is there any way to confirm this?
