Hi,
My recommendation is the following one:
a) Put yous server down (on mode -ky, or other method)
b) start a restore of the Online instance (ontape -r)
c) When IDS ask for new backup levels (1) say NO.
d) when IDS ask for logs backup restore say NO.
e) Parallelly it is advisable to pray (if one is believing). ;-DDD
Most of the times these operations work correctly
Take care.
