dbaccess and table names

The version of dbaccess that comes with IDS.2000 shows table names in
a truncated format like: 'bvadmin'.ansprec+
Is there a way to get the table names displayed without truncation?
Is there another tool that can be used?
Thank you, Jens
Use dbschema or get my package utils2_ak from the IIUG Software Repository.
Utils2_ak contains two tools for this, my dbschema replacement utility
myschema and, if you just want a list of tables, listdb. Myschema is
compatible with dbschema, supporting all dbschema options except -hd, and
adds many extended features such as being able to report on system catalog
and SMI tables as well as tables against which there are active queries.
Listdb lists databases and optionally their tables and detached indexes.
There is also an option to report owner, dbspace, and creation date, and
logging and GLS status for databases. Myschema currently supports long
names but longname support will be in the next release of listdb also,
though one could add it oneself if one were impatient or in need. ;-)
