Hello
Please help me asap.
I install informix-se 7.24 on Linux RedHat 6.0
In $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts I wrote:
demo_se seipcpip new sqlexec
In /etc/setveces :
sqlexec 1527/tcp
INFORMIXDIR, INFORMIXSERVER, PATH are set.
Dbaccessdemo7 returned:
25591: Transport control received an invalid connection address
Help me.
Thanks in advance.

Does 'uname -n' report 'new' when run? If not, the problem
may be that you need the correct hostname in the third column,
despite that fact that seipcpip protocol implies the localhost.
Also, the services entry doesn't matter; the fourth column for
seipcpip is the name of a program under $INFORMIXDIR/lib. I trust
that the file in /etc was actually not spelled "setveces", either,
though it actually won't matter.
That's my best guess, anyway.
