cancel key(control-c) scramble the screen

redhat AS4,ids 9.4, 4gl 7.32uc2 while open form in 4gl program, It will scramble the screen if press control-c to cancel and some unknown character will display on it till I press control-R to clear screen. The same situation happen that run 'dbaccess' and press 'control-c' several time . I test it on AIX or solaris , It is OK ! all stty set up is same $ stty -a intr = ^CSomeone can help me ?

Hello Roger, I sounds like informix is having some terminal issues with RedHat. Try putting this in your .bash_profile: TERM=vt100 TERMINFO=/usr/share/lib/terminfo export INFORMIXTERM=terminfo -L.S.
