SE sqlhosts/services/ip problem
I am stuck!
Given a SCO 5.0.4 system with SE and 4GL RDS that was working why would the
host IP break 4GL?
I changed the IP address of the host from 2xx.xxx.xxx.56 to 192.168.x.56
and now this program gives the -930 error:
main
database stores7
display "hello"
end main
When I change it back (yes I deleted the old entry from the /etc/hosts) 4GL
"works" again!
dbaccess works with either IP address.
(Informix tech support(?) told me that it is a "network" problem and not
4GL, so have a nice day!)
